Santé is hosting Chef Reuben Asaram & Baker Cory Powell for a unique five-course dinner with pairings. Reuben is bringing the heat with his unique Asian flavored taco omakase, and Cory is cooling it down with his decadent specialty: cheesecake. If it sounds wild that’s because it is! Don’t miss out on these guys and their flavors. They are making moves in the Philly scene! Two seatings available @6:00pm & 8:30pm
Born in India and raised in New York, Chef Reuben’s passion for food was driven by the values instilled in him by his family. His Grandfather taught him that food is a vehicle for conversations, it has the power to bring different people together and in doing so learn about different cultures. Chef Reuben graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park and went on to work for a Michelin Star Restaurant. Fate brought him to Philadelphia to explore new culinary opportunities and fate struck again when he was presented with an opportunity to travel throughout Mexico while staying with a close friend’s family. The conversations around food transcended food just as his Grandfather taught him. With deep respect and love for the food and flavors of the world, Chef Reuben’s unique dishes creatively blend non-traditional flavor pairings together in a harmonious experience for the senses.
