I fell in love with Jacob’s food when I tried one of his mochi dumplings at a Couch Café pop-up dinner months ago. The texture was wild and I would’ve gladly broken my current lease and rented an apartment inside one of those dumplings for the forseeable future. All silliness aside, Jacob is bringing some serious flavors to the menu at Càphê Roasters in Kensington. He’s a James Beard Foundation Fellow, the creative mind behind Trinh Eats (homemade hot sauce and XO sauce) and a killer Super Smash Bros. player.
